Overview
The Incredible Hulk follows Bruce Banner while he hides across the globe searching for a cure to the gamma radiation that transforms him into the Hulk whenever anger takes over. Hunted by General Ross and facing the monstrous Abomination, Banner must decide whether the Hulk is a curse or the only way to survive. Based on the Marvel Comics icon, it became the second film in the MCU timeline. Behind the camera, Louis Leterrier gives the adaptation its shape, helping define whether it leans more into spectacle, character drama, genre thrills or straight-up comic-book chaos. We have rated this 7 out of 10, which makes it a worthwhile entry to revisit when comparing how well comic properties translate across different studios, eras and audience expectations. For SEO and fan discovery, it belongs here because it adds context to the bigger comic movie timeline: not every adaptation has to be perfect, but each one says something about the genre, the audience it was chasing and the kind of stories studios believed could work on screen.

CMDB Review
We have rated this 7 out of 10. The Incredible Hulk often gets forgotten because it sits awkwardly between early MCU history and the Iron Man era, but it deserves more credit. Edward Norton brings a more anxious, hunted version of Banner, and the film feels closer to a monster thriller than a standard superhero blockbuster. Tim Roth’s Abomination works well, and the final battle still lands. Underrated and far better than its reputation suggests.
