ParaNorman (2012) Review 9/10

ParaNorman is funny, creepy and much smarter than its zombie-kids-movie setup suggests. LAIKA gives the town an incredible handmade look, but it is the story about fear, bullying and judging outsiders that makes the film last. Norman is a genuinely likeable hero and the final reveal gives the whole adventure more emotional weight. An easy 9/10 October recommendation.
