The Woman in Black: Angel of Death (2014) Review 6/10
Angel of Death has the right location and plenty of gloomy wartime atmosphere, but following the 2012 film makes the scares feel more familiar. Phoebe Fox gives the story a sympathetic lead and Eel Marsh House remains wonderfully unpleasant, yet the sequel rarely surprises us. It works as a rainy October ghost story, just not an essential one. 6/10.
