Lauren Saliu Is She-Ra In Masters of the Universe Post-Credits Scene – What Does It Mean For The Future?

It’s been a few weeks since we attended the UK screening of Masters of the Universe and, with plenty of fans now having seen the film, it finally feels like the right time to talk about one of the biggest surprises hidden within the post-credit scenes.

And honestly, as somebody who grew up with He-Man figures scattered all over the bedroom floor, this reveal might actually be my favourite moment in the entire film.

Yes, it appears that Lauren Saliu is playing She-Ra.

Now before anyone panics and shouts “Spoilers!” from Castle Grayskull, the film actually contains three post-credit scenes, and each one seems to be laying foundations for the future of the franchise.

Because if Mattel and the studio have any sense whatsoever, this shouldn’t stop at one movie.

This should be the beginning.

Lauren Saliu Appears To Be Playing She-Ra

Social media started buzzing shortly after the film released, with several fans spotting behind-the-scenes posts from Lauren Saliu that appeared to connect her to She-Ra.

Some reports suggest these posts were later removed after receiving negative comments online, although we haven’t been able to fully verify that ourselves.

What we can say is this.

The final reveal strongly points towards Adora and She-Ra entering the Masters of the Universe universe.

For longtime fans, this is absolutely huge.

She-Ra isn’t simply another hero to add to the roster. She’s one of the most important characters in the entire mythology.

And if the film series is planning ahead, this could change everything.

The Three Post-Credit Scenes Set Up The Future

Masters of the Universe doesn’t just tease one sequel – See MOTU post credits scene explained

It potentially teases several.

The first scene gives fans the return of Orko, which received a huge reaction during our screening.

The final scene sees Evil-Lyn discovering Skeletor’s skull, suggesting that the Lord of Destruction may not be finished quite yet.

Because let’s be honest.

Comic book deaths are usually more of a temporary inconvenience.

Between Orko’s return, Skeletor’s potential resurrection and the arrival of She-Ra, the franchise suddenly feels much bigger than a single He-Man film.

Could She-Ra Get Her Own Movie?

Personally, I think this is exactly where the franchise should go.

In the original animated story, Adora was kidnapped as a baby by Hordak and taken to Etheria.

Years later, He-Man travels to the planet, helps her understand the evil of the Horde and gives her the Sword of Protection, allowing her to become She-Ra.

That story eventually became The Secret of the Sword, which many fans still consider one of the best chapters in Masters of the Universe history.

A standalone She-Ra movie could allow audiences to explore Etheria, introduce Hordak properly and establish Adora before eventually bringing the two heroes together.

Marvel built towards The Avengers.

The DC Universe is building toward its larger team-ups.

Masters of the Universe has the opportunity to do something similar.

Could We See Five Masters of the Universe Movies?

Honestly? I hope so.

There is simply too much material to tell in one or two films.

You have:

  • Skeletor’s return.
  • The Evil Horde.
  • Hordak.
  • Etheria.
  • She-Ra.
  • The Snake Men.
  • King Hiss.
  • The Secret of the Sword.
  • The Great Rebellion.
  • The universe is enormous.

As somebody who walked into the screening carrying a childhood He-Man figure, I left the cinema feeling something I haven’t felt for a long time.

Excitement.

Real excitement.

This doesn’t feel like a one-and-done movie.

It feels like the beginning of something.

And if Lauren Saliu truly is our live-action She-Ra, the future of Masters of the Universe might be even bigger than we imagined.

**What do you think? Should She-Ra receive her own standalone movie first, or should Adora be introduced directly in Masters of the Universe 2? Let us know in the comments below.**
