Ahsoka Season 2 Confirmed
Disney has officially confirmed that Ahsoka Season 2 is set to arrive in early 2027, continuing the story of one of Star Wars’ most beloved modern characters.
Following the success of Season 1, fans have been waiting for updates on what comes next for Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Grand Admiral Thrawn and the growing threats lurking beyond the known galaxy.
And honestly? After that finale… there was absolutely no way Disney was leaving us hanging forever.
Ahsoka’s Journey Continues
Ahsoka brought fan-favourite characters from Star Wars animation into live action while continuing the expanding “Mando-verse” storyline developed by Dave Filoni.
The series followed Ahsoka Tano as she attempted to stop the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn, while also helping Sabine Wren search for Ezra Bridger in a distant galaxy.
Season 1 balanced lightsaber battles, Force mythology, political conflict and emotional character moments — while also somehow making giant space whales important to the plot.

Rosario Dawson Returns as Ahsoka
Rosario Dawson is expected to return as Ahsoka Tano after fully making the role her own across both The Mandalorian and her standalone series.
Originally introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Ahsoka has become one of the franchise’s most popular characters thanks to her complicated journey from Jedi apprentice to independent Force user.
Unlike many Star Wars heroes, Ahsoka walks her own path outside the traditional Jedi Order, which gives the series a different tone compared to the Skywalker-focused stories.
What Could Happen in Season 2?
Season 1 ended with several major storylines still unresolved.
Grand Admiral Thrawn successfully returned to the main galaxy, setting up a potentially massive conflict for the future of the New Republic.
Meanwhile, Ahsoka and Sabine remained stranded on Peridea alongside mysterious Force-related threats that could become central to the next season.
There are also huge questions surrounding Baylan Skoll’s unfinished story and how the series will handle the character moving forward.
