Dark Shadows (2012) Review 7/10
Dark Shadows is messy, but it is also peak Burton comfort food: Johnny Depp, Eva Green, gothic mansions, vampires and Danny Elfman. The comedy sometimes fights against the darker family story and there are more characters than the film really knows what to do with. Still, Eva Green is tremendous fun and the whole thing looks fantastic. A flawed but enjoyable 7/10 October pick.
