The Woman in Black (2012) Review 8/10

The Woman in Black is old-fashioned ghost-story horror done properly: empty corridors, foggy marshes, locked rooms and the feeling that something is standing just outside the frame. Daniel Radcliffe carries the film well and Eel Marsh House is a fantastic location. It leans heavily on jump scares, but the atmosphere is strong enough to make them work. A very solid 8/10.
