Marvel Movies You Can Skip

These movies are connected to the MCU, but they are not essential for understanding the central Infinity Saga storyline.

Skipping them can make a first-time Marvel marathon much more manageable. You can then return to them later to explore individual heroes and supporting characters in greater depth.

Iron Man 2 develops Tony Stark's personal story and introduces Natasha Romanoff, but its central conflict is not vital to understanding The Avengers.

Beginners can skip Eternals without affecting their understanding of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man or the Infinity Saga. It is better approached later as a standalone corner of the Marvel universe.

Some MCU movies are essential because they introduce major heroes, form the Avengers or directly advance the Infinity Stone storyline.

These films provide a streamlined route through the main Marvel narrative without requiring every sequel and spin-off.

For viewers who only want the core Avengers story, this shorter watch order covers the most important introductions, team-ups and conflicts.

It will not include every character or reference, but it provides enough context to understand the rise of the Avengers, Thanos and the conclusion of the Infinity Saga.
