The Losers Storyline

The Losers follows an elite black-ops team betrayed and left for dead after a mission goes wrong. Determined to clear their names and get revenge on the mysterious operative Max, the team joins forces with the equally dangerous Aisha. Based on the DC/Vertigo comic series by Andy Diggle and Jock, it mixes military action with comic-book swagger and sharp humour.

The Losers is one of those films people stumble across years later and wonder why nobody talked about it more. The cast is ridiculously stacked, Chris Evans is having the time of his life, and the whole thing moves with loud, stylish confidence. It does not reinvent action cinema, but it absolutely understands how to entertain. Funny, fast and far better than it gets credit for, it is a hidden gem in the comic adaptation pile.
