Batman & Robin (1997) Storyline

Batman & Robin follows Batman and Robin as they battle the ice-cold Mr. Freeze and the seductive eco-terrorist Poison Ivy while tensions grow within the Bat-family. With Batgirl joining the fight, Gotham becomes a playground of giant props, ice puns and pure comic-book excess. Based on DC Comics characters, it became one of the most infamous superhero films ever made.

Batman & Robin (1997) Review - 6/10 Rating

Batman & Robin is not subtle. It is neon, ridiculous and powered almost entirely by ice puns and nipples on the Batsuit. George Clooney himself apologised for it, which honestly says everything. Yet there is something weirdly entertaining about how completely committed it is to chaos. Arnold Schwarzenegger clearly had the time of his life as Mr. Freeze, and Uma Thurman understood the assignment perfectly. Disaster? Yes. Boring? Absolutely not.
