Thor: Ragnarok Storyline
Thor: Ragnarok picks up after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) imprisoned on the planet Sakaar. There, he encounters the eccentric Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) and is forced to fight as a gladiator in his arena. Meanwhile, back on Asgard, Thor’s evil sister, Hela (Cate Blanchett), has returned to claim the throne. Hela’s ruthless ambition leads to the destruction of Mjolnir, Thor’s enchanted hammer, and she begins her campaign to conquer Asgard and the Nine Realms.
Thor teams up with the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), who has been stranded on Sakaar for two years, and his former ally, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), to escape the Grandmaster’s arena and stop Hela’s destructive plans. Along the way, Thor faces the challenge of overcoming his own arrogance, learning to embrace his true power as the God of Thunder. The team must rally against Hela’s forces and prevent the prophesied destruction of Asgard, known as Ragnarok.
With a mix of action, humor, and vibrant visuals, Thor: Ragnarok provides a unique blend of cosmic adventure and personal growth for Thor as he faces the greatest challenge of his life.

Thor: Ragnarok is a bold, fun, and visually stunning entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), directed by Taika Waititi. The film injects a fresh sense of humor and irreverence into the Thor franchise, departing from the darker tones of previous installments. Chris Hemsworth’s portrayal of Thor is at its most charismatic and comedic, bringing a lighthearted energy to the character that was previously less explored.
The film excels in its humor, with Waititi’s signature quirky style shining through, from the absurd characters to the witty dialogue. The dynamic between Thor, Hulk, and Loki adds a layer of humor and camaraderie that drives much of the movie’s charm.
