Our Night at the Superman Premiere, Leicester Square – July 2, 2025
On July 2, 2025, we had the incredible honour of being invited to the world premiere of Superman in London’s iconic Leicester Square — and what a night it was! From red carpet glamour to exclusive behind-the-scenes moments, this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience we won’t forget.
Hosted by Warner Bros. Pictures, the premiere marked the official kickoff for the highly anticipated return of Superman, directed by none other than James Gunn, now co-head of DC Studios. As lifelong fans of DC and superhero cinema, being there in person, surrounded by fellow creators, passionate fans, and the stars themselves, was truly surreal.
🎬 Meeting the Cast & Creative Legends
One of the biggest highlights of the evening was meeting the phenomenal cast of the new Superman film. The atmosphere was electric as the stars took to the red carpet, greeting fans, signing autographs, and sharing their excitement for the project. Seeing David Corenswet step into the boots of Clark Kent, alongside Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, was a reminder that this reboot is bringing fresh energy and gravitas to the iconic story.
Even more special was the chance to speak with James Gunn himself. Friendly, passionate, and clearly proud of what his team has achieved, Gunn gave us a brief insight into his vision for Superman and how it anchors the new DC Universe going forward. Having masterminded Guardians of the Galaxy for Marvel, Gunn’s leap to DC already feels like the best possible move for Superman’s legacy.
👊 Content Creators & Cosplay Energy
The premiere wasn’t just for press and celebrities — content creators and DC superfans were out in full force. It was a brilliant opportunity to finally meet some of the people we’ve collaborated with online and admire from afar.
Of course, the cosplay community showed up in full capes and super suits! We spotted incredible renditions of Superman, Supergirl, Lex Luthor, and even throwbacks to other iconic characters from DC Comics. It really added to the celebratory and fan-driven vibe of the whole event.
🎥 Exclusive Sneak Peek Screening
While the full film officially releases today in UK cinemas, premiere attendees were treated to an exclusive screening of select scenes from the movie — and wow, did it deliver!
Without giving away spoilers, we can say this: the visuals are breathtaking, the score is spine-tingling, and this Superman feels bold, emotional, and modern while still staying true to the character’s core values. There’s heart, hope, and a touch of that James Gunn charm — all the ingredients for a new era of DC greatness.
